On a surprisingly cold day during the rush hour, I was headed to Kinko's in downtown Bk. While exiting the subway, on my way up the stairs I noticed a green bush at the entrance of the subway. Sprouting from the top of the bush was a flower. It sat there trembling from the season's strong winds. Its vibrant color stood out amongst the people coming and going, and it contrasted against the tall building towering in the far background. I had to photograph it. Funny thing is when I climbed to the top of the stairs; it kind of disappeared amongst the broader scenery. I guess you have to see something from the bottom-up to appreciate its beauty.
